Primavera con colore

The other week I was assisting a stylist for a photo shooting of an international magazine. I had a great time and met some wonderful people. The day was extremely long and the place where we were shooting was storage of a catering service. It was chilly the whole time. I thought that the place was really cool.

I slightly felt sorry for the model in tiny clothing, but she was professional so we did just fine.

The clothing was from Chanel to Benetton and I can tell that next spring will be full of bright colors. I can post the rest of the pictures later next year.

Most of the times I buy the fabrics I like and after I design the clothing to match with them... Here I have used wool and cotton for the overall suit and silk and wool for the little girls dress.

Inter-Milan 14.11.2010

The”Derby” in Milan is always a big event. I got spoiled yesterday and got to go to see the game in San Siro. Like always in Milan there was traffic and no parking places. We eventually arrived to the stadium in time, but not into our seats.

Why do I always get the impression that the fans want to burn the stadium?

You could feel that two home town teams were playing. There were lots of fights and the paramedics were on the field pretty much half of the time. I was happy that Milan won… ;o)

This was the first time I wasn`t freezing in the game. I think that I had more clothing on than when it is -28C in Finland

New York Hotel, Rotterdam

New York Hotel is a place worth visiting in Rotterdam. I can recommend their restaurant as well. I hope to return there one day. The hotel is filled with history.

Alchimia is a nice restaurant close to my home where we go once in a while. It is a place where our friends arrange their birthday parties and dinners.

L`inverno scorso

I love fur in every way you can imagine wearing it. I know that it divides opinions, but I believe that it has been used forever so why not now. I buy it vintage from Finland and I have a strong belief that the animals have been treated fine.
While the weather is getting colder I am waiting for the period that I can start wearing my fur jackets again. I found these pictures from last winter. The first ones are from Lugano in Switzerland and the last one from Naviglio, Milan.

We go to party in Shocking Prive on the weekends and they have cool lamps in there. We have already made all the plans how to get them home as well, but I am not going to share our secret… ;o)

Something new for a little baby boy. Denim overall with a wool jacket, both of them have cotton linings.

I love Lanvin!

I love Lanvin and my dream is to get married in a Lanvin dress... or maybe I can use two dresses because my best friend already promised to design my future wedding dress. So it must be then Teemu & Lanvin.

I am not a big fan of H&M, but I think that this time I will be waiting in line to wait for the stores to open on the 23rd of November.

I like going to the movies and yesterday after work we went to see Salt with Angelina Jolie. She was a secret agent and there was a lot of action in the film. Now waiting for Salt 2... Before the movie we had some time to wander around the center and I found this cool window in Via Vittorio Emanuele.

Lampadari in cristallo

Lately I have had a thing for the crystal lamps. I don`t know if there has always been as many crystal lamps around or do I just notice them better now. This beauty is in a fairly new restaurant/ bar called Bar Buonaparte. We had aperitif there a few days ago.

Il piccolo principe

This tiny outfit is made for a nephew of my friend. He is expect to be born in December. The jacket is wool with cotton lining and inside cotton wool to make it even warmer. The pants are wool with cotton lining. I hope that soon I get to do all the photo shootings with real babies. That would be so much cooler.
