Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010

Some 15 years ago I made a promise that I would return to Canada for the 2010 Winter Olympics. It was time to fulfill my promise. The past few weeks I have been working like crazy and by the time of Valentine`s Day I started to realize that I needed to pack my luggage for the coming 3 weeks. I despise packing and unpacking, but I still don`t earn enough money to have someone else to do it behalf of me…one day I will. You can read the rest here.

Moda Bambini

Last summer I got a brilliant idea of starting to design clothing for babies. I made the first part of the collection in September and now in January I continued it for a few weeks. I wish I would have more time for baby clothing, but unfortunately I need to work for other customers. The rest of the story is here.

Natale in Finlandia

Leaving home to Finland for Christmas was slightly a disaster. Milan was packed with traffic and I couldn`t get a taxi in time. I missed the first train to Malpensa and I was worried of also missing my flight to Helsinki. I broke my Samsonite and I was scared what would come next. It turned out to be the missing Master Card of the passenger sitting next to me. You can read the rest here.

Io Sposa

In the beginning of October we went to Io Sposa, wedding expo here in Fiera Milan. As a fashion designer I am always interested in seeing everything new and seeking interesting ideas. One day I will get married as well, so why not. I was thrilled with all the exhibitors. There were so many beautiful things that I saw and I got to taste. THe story continues here.

Boscolo Exedra/ Milano

One of the many reasons why I love to live in Milan is the never ending list of cocktail parties every single evening. In Finland I would say the endless list of Kissanristiäiset*. Unfortunately I have been too busy to attend most of them, but I have taken the time once in a while to see my dear friends and have a glass of sparkling.
