"La sfida"

I got a photo challenge from Katariina. I needed to take the fourth foulder from my pictures and pick up the fourth photo and tell something about it.

This is from Santa Margherita Ligure. It is taken from the balcony of our hotel Imperiale. I adored this hotel; private beach, amazing breakfast, live music in the garden in the evenings and of course the best company possible. The following summer we stayed in the hotel shown down in the picture. Hopefully next summer I have time to go there again...

Carnevale di Punks Wear Prada

I have been working for my finals for some weeks now and struggling with my mind pretty badly, so I really needed to get out and have some fun. On Saturday night there was a mask party which I wanted to attend. My friends had been telling about this every weekend theme festival and this lucky Saturday it was an erotic mask carnival... ;o)

When I am completely concentrated into something I just want to finish the project I am on and relax afterwards. I have barely seen my friends for the last weeks. Okay, some quick aperitifs with Teemu and dinners with Irene, but not that much... I missed my friends!

You like the white mask I made? I was thinking that when I make my first Lingerie-collection I could sell these as well.... Hih.

The place Santa Tecla Cafe was pretty small and all we did for the entire night was dancing. It was pretty crowded, I normally prefer having a table, but this time it was fun!!!!

I remember always from leaving the nightclub why I don`t go out that often. I HATE looking for the taxi. This time was not an exception. No taxis!!! It didn`t help that I gave my socks to my girlfriend because her shoes were killing her, and now I was in trouble walking with my 12 cm heels... I can just say that Via Torino was pretty cold in the beginning of February and my friend was thinking that I am big time out of my mind... ;o) Well, something new for the "I have never"-game...

25 cose da me

There goes a circular letter in facebook that you need to tell 25 things about yourself. I will add it here as well. Some things are dreams for me... ;o) Btw, this picture is from last night`s party. I will tell you more later... It was so much fun!!!

1. I am a dreamer. (Like you know... I prefer living with my heart...)
2. I love travelling, but I hate to fly except in Business Class.
3. I love sleeping and I enjoy taking naps…especially with someone.
4. I adore Italian music.
5. I drink at least one class of red wine or sparkling every day with food.
6. I could live with champagne and strawberries… okay, a piece of Parmiggiano as well.
7. I love baking and I am pretty good in it. (I have heard at least...)
8. One day I want to live in a city which is by the sea and the mountain. I love the sea breeze! Santa Margherita Ligure is perfect, but way too small.

9. Winter is my favorite season of all. (That means white snow for snowboarding.)
10. I love beautiful lingerie especially La Perla, but at home I don`t like to wear anything. ;o)
11. I love shoes, I have at least 150 pairs and they are not cheap…
12. I could have bought a Porsche with the money I have in clothing, bags, shoes and jewellery… easily!
13. I want a Porsche, black coupe.
14. I want a black panther for a pet… with the diamond collar of course, most probably it would starve to death with me feeding it with Nutella only.
15. I enjoy staying home, but I enjoy aperitifs at Bvlgari as well.
16. I miss my friends every day.
17. One day I will have my own clothing brand.
18. One day I would love to publish a biography. You wouldn`t believe the juicy stories, but there are too many secrets that I don`t want to tell…
19. I still haven`t gotten my Chanel 255 with golden chain or my Hermès Birkin… (Wouldn`t that be a great idea for graduation gift???)
20. I have been robbed, twice.
21. I love bubble baths. Too bad I don`t have a bathtub. That is why I always want a hotelroom with the tub.
22. 3 nights ago I listened to The Strip`s "Breakeven" at least 50 times with repeat. I know… ;o) 2 nights ago it was The Fray`s "You Found Me"…. Hahahaa!!!!
23. When my prince marries me, it will happen by the beach, white sand and barefoot...
24. I hate washing my hair.
25. I want a walk in closet for all my clothing and shoes like in Sex and the city. *Gosp…*
26. I find tall men sexy…. (Ups, that was extra....)

Impossibile

Impossible... What is that? It doesn`t exist in my vocabulary or I guess not in my mind either. I don`t think that I have realised my behavior truly before someone really made me understand it.

A few years ago in Beijing airport I was stucked in the check in with my huge luggage. I wanted to go to the lounge already, but it was impossible to check in that early. Not possible for me!!! After some talks I found myself making the check in upstairs in KLM/ Air France office. Later, I was happily in the lounge sipping champagne and reading Helsingin Sanomat with my 45 kg luggage next to me. ;o) So, if you really can take your luggage until the gate after 911, I would say that everything is possible... (Great memory!)

Pisces: Their natures tend to be too otherworldly for the practical purposes of living in this world as it is. I have always thought that the sky is the limit. Why in earth should I get a headache with thinking how to arrange some things. They will always get solved somehow...

The same was with me moving to Italy to study. How could I??? I am way too old and I didn`t have the money. How could I finance the school and support myself living here more than a year without doing any jobs. Like you now, it happened...

Everytime I have been thinking where to find a job, it just has arrived. Things do happen, why should I analyse that much. Me and analysing just don`t sit in the same sentence. If I now think, about the world economy and me graduating after one week, that I will not find a job in this city, it would be the end of all. Not possible for me!!!

The schedule for our final exams is crazy. So much work to do... I really work 16 hours a day to get everything ready in time and I truly want to graduate with the best possible grades. That`s why I found myself going to bed (again) this morning at 7 AM. That can`t be normal... ;o)

So I guess my horoscope of me is completely true. Funny!

Valentine`s day is coming so remembering your loved ones is even more important. I don`t know if it is living away from home or just the stress of school or certain Mr M, but I am ever thankful for my amazing friends around the world and for my parents... I am just so happy that YOU are there for me and I will always be there for you. I love you all. ;o)
