After a long lunch we wanted to get some fresh air and burn the calories by the seaside of Rauma. The evening was warm and the sunset just gorgeous. We barbecued some sausage before returning to home and sauna.

My brother surprised me one day when he got back home from the super market. He had found my favorite American treats from the local "Citymarket". He brought me Kraft dinner and strawberry Twizzlers. Yammy!!!

My uncle had his birthday the other weekend and my entire family dressed up for the garden party. I had so much fun making the matching belts and hunting for the hats and scarfs for everyone. It was fun to see my cousins after a long long time.

I love chocolate and I found a new recipe of the traditional chocolate blocks covered with coffee flavored topping, which I had to try of course. The candies I made for my dad. He is quite a "herkkupeppu".

I always go to see Nadja in her old vintage store in Old Rauma when I do my tour of the second hand stores in the city. She has some true treasures. This time I found this cool mink hat to go home with me. Hope to see you soon again!

In the beginning of my vacation my friend Toni had his birthday. He had arranged the party on a private cruise which took us to Kylmäpihlaja light house. The day was warm and sunny all the way ´till the end. We had the best time and I can only be proud of our beautiful archipelago.

Mom sent me to the market place to buy some carrots, potatoes and basilica. I guarantee I didn`t do any shopping...

I love the market place of Rauma. it is in the middle of the old city. The weather has been just amazing while being home. I have been spending so much money shopping here that I really need to start avoiding going back to the center during the opening hours. ;o)

Bike Lake Jumping World Championship in Rauma

Yesterday we went to see Bike Lake Jumping World Championship in Rauma and we had a lot of fun. It looked pretty crazy, but nobody got hurt, at least not badly. It was so funny to see so many people in the beach in my childhood`s home "lake". I have so many great pictures, but unfortunately I can`t add them all here. I am already waiting for next year`s event. Hopefully Markus and the boys will organize it again.
